About Our Partners
New Practice Studio is an interdisciplinary collaboration between architects, interior designers, graphic designers, and brand strategist based in New York and Shanghai. Our work explores possibilities in architecture, urbanism and visual communication as ways to transform the stereotypes of everyday experience into the prototypes of new space and idea. With services from urban planning, architecture design, interior design, furniture design, construction administration to graphic design and branding, we strive to fulfill our clients' ambition through comprehensive design perspective and rigorous attention to detail and execution.
GRT Architects was founded by Rustam-Marc Mehta and Tal Schori in 2015. They are both registered architects who studied history before design and find truth more interesting than fiction. They look for what makes each project unique and craft a response they hope to be as surprising as it is appropriate.
Tal and Rustam met in third grade and proceeded, unintentionally, to attend the same university and architecture school. After working at different firms for seven years they decided to do the right thing and start a business together. Currently their work ranges from a line of deep-relief concrete tiles to stand-alone single family houses to artist collaborations to academic posts at Columbia University.
Founded in 2015, junzi grew out of a hunger for our childhood staples: northern Chinese food made with healthy, seasonal ingredients.
Yet recreating the taste of home has done much more than sate our cravings—the amazing power of food in building community has inspired us to make our bings and noodles accessible to all.
In just three years, we’ve grown junzi to four locations in New Haven, CT near Yale University, Morningside Heights near Columbia University, Greenwich Village near NYU and Bryant Park—and that’s just the beginning!
